87 cast iron heads flow #'s.....

well, does anyone know 'em? preferably for a set of ported heads? 1.94 int and 1.60 exh vavles.....

87 is the year, they are 1987 cast iron heads off of a 305 with a 1 piece rear main seal, and a 4bbl quadrajet.

305 heads usually make real good paper wieghts.... if that tells you what i think of the stock flow.

if you take them off they'll probably be cracked all to hell the ones on my truck were. cheaper to just buy a set of rebuilt heads or a set of aftermarket ones, in either of those cases you'll be farther ahead.

They can EASILY be made to flow better than the much vaunted Vortec heads--at home!!!
