well i just got a challenge lastnight from my friend who has a 81 malibu 400ci. i got a new 305, still cfi, everythings stock. i raced a guy who ran a 15.9 and beat him by about 2 car lengths. so i know my car isnt too slow being stock and all. but hes making this car sound so badass and i just have to beat him, even if i have to cut his brake line

well what do you guys think? am i going to get my *** handed to me? im almost positive that other than the 400, everything else is stock.

All depends i think purely on power to weight i think he has you. I hope for your sake hes got some ****ty *** tires/suspension and cant put too much of his power to the ground
