Ive heard that ls style engines experince head float in high boost applications. i odnt know if its true but if it is i guess a TT setup would not be advisable??

Well your really getting ahead of me, honestly I'll probbaly get lazy and just spray the hell outta it rather than forced induction. But I'll definetely check into that.

As for now i was just intereted in the basics.

Speaking of which I have another question, I know Ive seen TH-400s and stuff bolted up to LS1 cars before. Does it require an adapter?

The 6 liter trucks suck gas worse than they should. I know one person who has one and it gets 11 on the highway. I don't think my 76 4.11 geared carbed big block 3/4 ton pickup did any worse. I don't think it is the size of the engine though, as I have seen injected sbc 400 achieve 30 mpg highway, but something isn't dialed in on the factory 6 liters programming.
