350 swap...my fuel pump has no power...
So I took the TPI harness out, I kept a part of the harness that was nicely separate and controlled the wipers/alt/starter/headlights etc....but i have no power to my fuel pump it doens't appear....any idea which wire / connector that is? Can I just connect 12v of power to it set up so when i turn my key it turns on? any help would be great.....fuel and a coil is the only thing im missing, im starting this thing by sat....
oh yea, i didn't see any wire running under the car to the fuel pump to power it, it's on the driver side right? a heat sheid was blocking the fuel can....im trying to avoid dropping it

The wires to power it should run inside the car but under the carpet. I have my carpet out Ill go out and look exactly where they are in the daylight tommorow. I think once they get towards the back of the car, they meet about in the center of the car under the back seats.
I dont see a problem with running power from the ignition to the pump. But others may disagree.

Well the entire TPI harness is out, only the separate harness that runs the nonengine components is in (wipers/headlights/starter/alt etc were all on a separate harness)
Thanks...if you find out exactly where you'd be a life saver..

The wire bundle coming from the driver's side firewall---there should be a tan and white wire. This is the power supply wire directly to the pump. You could hook it up directly to a switched 12V source, but I'd use a relay to be safe.
Well we found it...tried to run the fan and pump off the same line...blew a fuse, moved the fans onto a different line and ran a line under the carpet and had no problems, the fans run w/o any overheat of the wire and the fuel pump is good. The engine is 100%, im happy to say my motor swap is complete. We got the fuel pump to run and some fuel leaked out of the adjustment screw of the carb. Then the fuse blew, but since we knew there was fuel in the line we started the engine...ran for like 5 seconds....it needs more timing but it sounded good. By the time we had all the electical done and every hose was connected and everything was 100% done it was too late to start the engine (my boss' kids were asleep, and my stock Ypipe doesn't fit the flowtech headers) so that woulda been kinda loud to be tuning at 11 at night.
