327 question.

Ive found this for sale locally: "1967 327 small journal short block, needs rings & bearings.$300."

In your guys opinion would this be worth buying and putting together to replace my LG4? has anyone ever done this swap before? What do you guys think id all need to do to make it work? Car is an 87 Z28.

The small journal parts can be expensive, and if the engine needs bearings it could very well need more parts. The dipstick is also on the driver side, you could have interference issues with the exhaust. It is also 23 cid smaller than a 350 that will probably be cheaper to build and make more power. Id hold out for a 350.
