ive got an 89 formy with a 305 and its blowing oil out of the dipstick or somewhere near there and i dont know why. im going to do a compression test on it to see if thats the cause but i have no idea what kind of numbers to expect. has anyone done a compression or leakdown test on their 305? and if so what kind numbers did you get?

also can you guys think of anything else that may have caused this to happen. maybe there's something ive overlooked. it only has 68k on it so its hard to believe that the compression is the cause but then again anythings possible.

its not how high the compression is its how cloce they are to each other.within 20% in within spec but you should be about 150
