back to the orig. question yah butch or hijackers hahaha.....

dont forget you need the larger throtle body from the 350 if you werent planing on swaping to the full engine intake included like.

Also i heard you can use LS1 injectors?? i forget if there are mods to do with this swap tho.

throttle bodies are the same on the 350 and 305.
LS1 injectors run at higher psi, so thier rating is lower on a 3rd gen. Example 26# LS1 injectors are 22# on our cars, 28# LS1 injectors are 24# on ours. You'll have to notch them as well so that the clips will hold them to the fuel rail.

Just remember that the TPI was originally made to complement the 305. Thus the reason the 305 with dual catalystmade 230 h.p. and the 350 TPI only made 15 horses more. That's why L98's respond so well to oversized runners and ported manifolds. Also adding bigger injectors than requied can lead to more problems, i.e. calibration and ECM problems. Adding bigger injectors means that the ECM has to limit the injectors pulse width (time in milliseconds the injector is open). This can actually kill performance and hinder fuel efficency, which kinda defeats the purpose of F/I. The bigger injectors will have to fire so briefly that the fuel won't have time to fully and evenly mix with the air. TPIS has documented using 305 injectors for performance engines over 400 cubes with no problems. The ECM automatically adjusts the injectors pulse width and duty cycle to stoichiometric air/fuel ratio.

Yep, it's a fact. They used the same 48mm TB on the 305 and 350's as well as the LT1's (with the LT1's being slightly different due to the sensors)
