2000 s-10 wheel offset
2000 s-10 wheel offset
Hey all,
I am looking at a set of wheels off a newer style s-10 over the internet and wanted to make sure of fitment on my 87 Z.
I seem to recall that the newer style 4x4 s-10's use the same offset as the fourth gens but I am wonderering about the 2 wheel drives? I know the 80's style s-10's are identical to the 3rd gens. Anybody know for sure?
Thanks,
Martin

Don't know for sure, but my gut tells my you are right- same offest even on the later models.
On my 2WD 91 Jimmy the offset is the same as my brother's 4WD 91 Jimmy. Any/either of those wheels will fit on a 3rd gen, although they are only 7" wide wheels.
Remember that on factory 3rd gens with 8" wheels there was more offset on the rears than the fronts. The 8" front wheels on a 3rd gen were spaced out a little further (less offset) by the factory to clear the steering knuckles.
