What should the LS7 Super car be called
Re: What should the LS7 Super car be called
First they said we wouldn't get a super Camaro, now the argument is no one will buy it if it's 40 grand, while completely ignoring the fact that Ford sells as many 40k Cobras as they want to build. It's almost funny sometimes
They act like they don't realize that a nice topped out Buick or Chevrolet SUV is already into the 40's, and we're talking about a 500hp ULTIMATE Camaro. 40g's aint all that much today, and thats still 10 grand under any vette thats halfway decently optioned.

. There were more than that wanting a $65,000 2002 Camaro! No it won't be a volume seller, but if Ford can sell 7,000 Shelbys a year, you KNOW Chevrolet can at least sell a couple of thousand, if not 4-5k.

Z06.
I know you F-body guys are all about the most power you can get and la di da. But as big of an f-bod fan as I am, there are some things that should remain exclusive. Sorry. You wanna make that kind of power? Forget an LS7. Heads and Cam. Maggie. Pro Charger. I'm all for different models, especially a non v6 RS and the return of the RS/SS, but they developed the LS7 for the Z06. There was a reason the LS6 never made it into the 4th gens. And 410 at the wheels works alot better in a 3100 lb sportscar than a 38-4100 lb pony car. I mean, we'd be back at square one. Go fast in a straight line, too much power for the corners for such a heavy car. Of course, my arguement may be completely defunct by the time of production, depending on how long the C6 is supposed to last. Just my .02.
