Absolutely!

If folks like the concept, they should love the production car. Personally, I think the production is a better execution of a "Camaro" than the concept... and the concept is damn good.

Funny, of all the pics/angles that's the one I drooled over the most. That bird of prey front end is great.

what really kills the picture is the use of real wide lenses.. which makes the butt appear huge and tall. I think I will take some pictures of my corvette tonight showing the differences between wide angel and narrow lenses. It make a WORLD of difference. But yeah.. that picture of the butt doesn't worry me at all.

You mean lack of styling. It's a bunch of flat featureless planes. (imo)

The pic of the rear end is wierd. A lot of it can be attributed to the angle and the lens.
However, I don't think any F5 should roll out of the factory without the rear spoiler. It makes the rear-end look so much better.
The placement of the reverse lights is questionable. I would have liked to see them in the center of one of the taillights (one on each side).
These are by no means deal breakers for me. I will still buy a convertible when the demand dies down and the raping ends.

I going to go out on a limb and state that the base Camaro will be sans spoiler, and at least the top dog will get something added. (Perhaps the SS as well.)

I actually like the clean look without the spoiler. Reminds me of the Corvette. (And the rear tailights with the chrome accent reminds me of the tailights on a 68 RS.)

Love it!! That's the second side shot of the nose that reminds me of my '78 Z28 (which is black as well!).

The last Camnaros I thought looked good in black were the IROCS.....until now .

Hey Scott, you don't have to beg for anything. You have given our camaro community so much, that we should all be down on our knees chanting we're not worthy. These are but a few whiners and complainers, who will always be whining and complaining about something. I can hear them now, "oh the car has too much power..., Oh it's too beautiful I can't even park it outside..." It just irks me, you give'm an inch...The great majority of us absolutely love everything we've seen so far and I personally can't wait to take that baby on a long drive up highway 1.

Exactly. This is like the inverse of what real estate agents use to make smaller rooms look large in photos.

To those saying they like the mustang better....uhhhh. That thing looks like it's frowning and has droopy eyes when you look at the front.

This is what the front of the Mustang has always reminded me of-

Only not half as cute...

Bingo! I will post the pictures tonight just to show everyone what a difference it makes with the same exact car. It might be a dirty Corvette.. no time to clean it up for the picture.

GTO Jack, if you've blown up six 10-bolts already, why don't you replace it with a 12-bolt? If you break something because you modded the car, common sense says that the part you broke wasn't strong enough, so you need to replace it with something stronger. Just a thought.

And this stuff about the 10-bolts. Pure baloney to claim they're weak. I'm brutally hard on my cars... and my 99 Formula stood up to three years and 40k miles of my merciless lead foot without a whimper. Gee, a 150 shot and DR's caused problems for GTOJack? Who'da thunk it? ( )

Denial anyone? There wouldn't be countless threads on broken 10 bolts if this rear was capable of handling anything more than a stock, automatic equipped car. I went thru a couple of 10 bolts even though I had the rearend checked twice to make sure everything was square. This was with mild bolt-ons (287rwhp) and stock size street tires. I hope that this mentality doesn't make it to the 5th gen. If so then it won't be any better than the car it replaced.

anyone who thinks a 7.5 10 bolt is adequate is living fantasy land. why couldnt they use the 8.5 10 bolt? its twice as strong and barely weighs any more. the 7.5 looks like a toy beside other rearends. theres no doubt its weak. small ring gears and pinions, huge case/pinion deflection. poor bearing sizes and posi carrier beefiness. ford can afford to put an 8.8 into a mustang for how many years? thats a good all around rearend. so is the 8.5 10 bolt. 7.5 is meant for 6cyls and toys.
