The reason for me wanting one in '08 has very little to do with anything other than my own agenda. I'd like to have an '08 to put next to my '68. Having cars 2 score years apart sounds better than cars that are two scores and one year apart (sounds too much like the Gettysburg Address)...

Funny that you say that. A lot of guys at my office who are gearheads, but not brand loyal have stated their choice may be which one comes out first. Many others are already driving their new body style mustangs.

How much time does it takes to get a new car from thought to the car lot? When did GM start working on this project?

The reason I ask is we all knew the Camaro was gone well before 2002.
