The reason for me wanting one in '08 has very little to do with anything other than my own agenda. I'd like to have an '08 to put next to my '68. Having cars 2 score years apart sounds better than cars that are two scores and one year apart (sounds too much like the Gettysburg Address)...

How much time does it takes to get a new car from thought to the car lot? When did GM start working on this project?
The reason I ask is we all knew the Camaro was gone well before 2002.
