I have read many articles saying the TA will never be built again because Pontiac is going upscale to a BMW quality car. According to the articles even if they build another camaro, TA's will not be built beside it.
Re: The new TA

i would much rather have one that looked like this^ to me its just alot stealthier and the camaro is more of a first gen throwback than a second gen, and i think the photochopped firebird with the 67-68 style front end looks alot cleaner..... but thats just my opinion

As the current owner of a Z-28 and 3 prev camaro's including a 1969 SS and 1 pontiac 78 trans am, I'd buy the bird in a minute over the camaro, way more character. This car makes a statement.

Looks more like what a GTO would look like, rather than a Firebird.

well keep in mind that the 67-68 firebird had a similar front end to the 68-69 goats, and the quarter panels on that 'concept' are more shaped to resemble an F-Body than the GM A-body but i guess its any way you look at it because the two cars were both similar
Re: The new TA
Like Guy has said about a million times over, the Trans Am name will NEVER appear again on a GM vehicle. GM had to pay rights to use the name and in its current financial situation, I highly doubt they would even so much as give it a small thought.
Like stars said, no new Firebird is planned as far as anyone knows. I'd personally love to see a modern Firebird on a modern chassis but it seems Pontiac is far more interested in a halo car wearing the GTO nameplate.
And the black rendition is way better than that blue one
