hp on the new camaro

anyone know what the ss, z28 have as a hp rating?

SS to have 140hp 2.2 Ecotec, Z28 to have the new 2.4 making 178hp, but you gotta use high octane...bummer, I know.

It can be viewed as you confirming both a Z/28 and an SS model

Now If we can only find out if the Z or SS is going to be the top dog..

Any idea when we might actually find this out? I'd guess NAIAS 2008, and I can see why that'd be something to keep quiet as long as possible......but it'd still be nice to know.

Ecotec? I heard through the grapevine that GM is scrapping the Ecotec and going back to the iron duke for both the SS and Z28 models.

I'd say 400 or so for the SS and 450-500 for the Z/28.

Those hp numbers remind me of the early eighties Camaro's. I remember my neighbors got a 4 cylinder Camaro,
