It's an amazing thing to see the concept side-by-side with a ZL-1.
One of the more striking things being that the concept looks like if it were left alone in the room too long with the ZL-1, it might eat it.

The video was great-more like seeing it in person than the still shots. The car is fantastic. The concept has the potential to be one of the classic designs of all time. PLEASE don't mess up the production car, GM. DON"T CHANGE A THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a way to say they have not changed at all. It will be as unpractical (unusable) as ever. Making a decent size back seat and small trunk would have been good enough for me. We'll see when it comes out.

The Camaro wasn't ever really a passenger/family car but there has always been usable rear space to hold most people comfortably.I had 4 passengers sit in the back of my '91,2 in the front.
,well maybe not too comfy there
Most of the time though it was just 3 to 4 passengers. This was just a car to have fun in.

Either I'm retarted (possible) or their site is hosed. All the article I read under the title "Chevrolet's muscular showcar does the family proud" talks about ethanol and flex-fuel cars!
Nice pics though!

The picture of the interior while it is beging worked on makes the interior look pretty good in white. Yes, it needs a bit more color. But a white interior would be pretty wild. It might be hard to keep clean, but it sure would be different.

When I purchase a Camaro (I've had 3, and am to embarassed by my current vehicle to mention it) I'm not doing so for it's ability to cart around friends. As a 31 year old, unmarried male with no kids a back seat isn't a priority.
I understand there are a number of guys out there that have a family and need more room, but a car like this isn't intended to be used as a sedan would. If I wanted sedanlike room, I'd just get a Monte Carlo SS or something, but that's me.
When I used to drive friends around and they'd complain about the back seats I'd tell them I bought the car because _I_ like it and the driver's seat is comfortable. If they don't want to go they can step out of the vehicle. LOL Hell, I managed to get 8 people in my 1982 Berlinetta once. THAT was interesting...
Regarding the trunk... My 2002 Camaro's trunk (as well as my 1982 Berlinetta and 1991 RS) was more versatile than my current vehicle. Even more versatile than the trunk of my 1995 Cavalier I used to drive. The hatchback made it possible for me to carry many more things than I can in a traditional trunk. I'd much prefer seeing the new Camaro have a hatch style rear, but it's not a deal breaker by an means.
I actually carried an entire twin size bed (mattress and all - disassembled of course) in my 2002 Camaro with the hatch popped up a little. You can't do that in anything aside from a truck usually.
So the complaints over a 'usable' trunk are completely misplaced. IMO anyway.

But my current little put put mobile has no more legroom than my Camaro in the rear. And my 1995 Cavalier didn't have much more either.
