"Some marketing people asked for more rear legroom and a larger trunk, and we said 'No.' We couldn't allow the idea to die on the vine or become something other than a true Camaro."
Now thats just funny.

It's an amazing thing to see the concept side-by-side with a ZL-1.

One of the more striking things being that the concept looks like if it were left alone in the room too long with the ZL-1, it might eat it.

The pic of it next to the ZL1 is a great pic, because it really helps you see that while the new one is inspired by the 69, it's sure not a copy or a clone. The new car is very much a "new" car.

What a great article, and what a great way to end it. . . "Some marketing people asked for more rear legroom and a larger trunk, and we said 'No.'"

Which one?

I think you could say the same for either car.

I agree, this new car captures the DNA of the '69 without being a direct ripoff, ala the Challenger.....

This car is destined to be a classic too.
