Two really big questions:
1. Will the interior quality be as good as the Euro level Monaros were?
2. And even more important: Will the construction of a US car hold up as well as Aussie built cars over extended use.
Seems cars built down there emphasize holding up to abuse, while cars here are made for lightweight and the lowest possible cost to make.

Australia is the harshest climate in the world for hot weather testing (ignoring the Middle East). I guess having that kind of environment in our own back yard helps Holden (and other manufacturers) with their development process. However, I don't believe our cars are conditioned for the colder/snowy climates - the salt on the road is something we don't have to deal with - and our cars are not comprehensively zinc treated for that purpose.
The latest review of the 300C puts the car in a more favourable light than our Statesman and Fairmont Ghia, both in terms of quality of interior/appointments and handling/refinement. If GM are able to exceed 300C quality levels, then they will give Camaro every chance to succeed.
Regarding the 2nd point. I would hope so given that Holden had a hand in the development of Zeta. Zeta should be a more durable platform that the current V-car, which itself is a significantly re-engineered Opel V-car platform. Zeta will (I assume) be significantly stiffer. A stiffer platform lends itself better to ride/handling and suppression of NVH.
The current V-car platform is the best Holden platform in decades - the past efforts were ordinary, IMHO. Surely there is no gulf between Holden and GM as far as build quality is concerned?
