I've been subscribing to Motor Trend for the post part of the past 15 years. When my subscription runs out I will not be renewing it. The magazine has taken a step back since C. Van Tune left as editor. As great as their artwork has recently become the rest of the product is lacking. Their opinions lack base and it seems like they choose the winner of a comparo test sometimes by pulling the names out of a hat. Worst of all, they're news section a disgrace. I think it was Guy who said that they had one of best around a long time ago and I agree. But currently it's terrible in plain English.

What do my comments, or those of others concerning the GTO is dead part have to do with the Camaro on the cover of MT?
BTW: The next gen GTO is on track unless it was cancelled last week and I didn't hear about it. ;-)

There may be a GTO in the future, but right now (and for the past 1 year plus), I see no evidence of an active program.
