It's good to see that one company knows how to use this basic principle to seperate its divisions. (Unlike GM with Chevrolet and Pontiac)

Believe it or not, that idea was being circulated nearly 2 years ago. It was something that would have happened after both went through a mid cycle restyling, Sebring's to be far more extensive than Avenger's.

I ripped up the playbook when this bankruptcy started.

We'll have a clearer picture as to what the Chrysler Co. has in store for us (beyond the 500 and some Fiat work for underutilized North American plants) before the end of summer.

FWIW: one plan jelling is a large Fiat or Alfa Romero sedan for Europe based on the Chrysler LX chassis and made on the same line as 300s, Chargers, & Challengers.

Is the next LX platform going to use Daimler-sourced components like the current one? Don't they still own a small share in Chrysler? Or will Chrysler just tweak the current platform with their own stuff?
