Best place to buy ZR1 rims?

Is jegs the best way with the detroit brand? Will the 17x11 fit on without problems, do I need spacers? What is the widest and thickest tire I can put on that sucker? I got some money saved and for a while you guys are gonna see a 1997 white Z28 with 11's on the back and stockers on the front lol.

What do you mean by "thickest" tire? The typical tire choice is a 315/35-17. That's about as wide as you can go, and even that may need some tweeking of the inner fender liner, etc. The info regarding 17x11 wheels, the recommended backspae, tire selection, and the required modifications is covered in a post in the "FAQ" thread stickied at the top of the Wheels and Tires forum topic listing. Did you check that post?

Most people buy the AFS replicas, which can be picked up on eBay fairly cheap. Dont know anything about the "Detroit" wheels.

i just called Tomzwheels today to inquire about some new chrome zr1s. i have a pair in 9.5" and need another pair for the rear, either 9.5" or 11", w/e i can find cheap used. anyways, tomzwheels wants 329 for a pair of chrome 17x11s and 319 for a pair of chrome 17x9.5s. shipping is 45 bucks for 2 wheels i was told.
