hey i dont mean to sound stupid here but what color are the stock shocks and struts? the reason i ask is becuase my car seems to be leaning a little to the front right...the ones on my car right now are orange but i cant really get under there to see anything else (if perhaps they are adjustable) was just wondering if the guy before me put on something aftermarket. or perhaps the part is just worn and needs to be replaced?

thanks a lot

DeCarbons are typically orange. Sounds like it is time to replace them (especially if they have more than 30k miles).

Shocks are the weakest piece on the f-body suspension. My advice is not to skimp on this purchase. Shocks make the biggest difference in handling, ride quality, and performance on these cars.

I suggest Koni SA or Strano-valved Bilsteins. www.stranoparts.com

For which generation/year F-Body? Impossible to answer without that info.

Whoops...I just assumed 4th gen LT1...they tend to sag to the right side.

its a 1994 z28. i guess i will just start trying to scrape some money together to replace the parts. although i wanted to find a pile of junk car to drive in the winter and or bad weather. money sucks hah. thanks a lot though.

If your car is leaning to the front right when it is sitting still, replacing the struts/shocks will not fix it. The struts/shocks control the movement of the spring, they do not have an impact on ride height.

You could have a spring issue, or a bent control arm, or some other front end issue.

Good luck,
Thomas.
