i found a great deal on a moser 9 in but its out of a 86 z28 and my gf just bought a 94 camaro z28 that i was going to put it in. what has too change if anything

According to the Strange drawings of their rears, the 3rd Gen rear is 3" narrower than the 4th Gen. Other than that, everything is the same. You could use a nice "deep" wheel with a 3rd Gen rear on a 4th Gen chassis, allowing you to use wheels like the ConvoPros, which are not available in the large backspace required for 4th Gens.

You would also need to check the brake mounting brackets, since not many 3rd Gens had disc brakes, IIRC.
