About a year ago I bought a 95 Z/28 which came with the Chrome WS6 rims on them. I'm finally looking to replace the tires and am wondering the stock size tire that came with those rims. They have 235/55 R17 on there now which were new when i bought it. I am just wondering if these are the normal size tires or if I should look into a different size.

You might want to replace those 235/55-R17's as quickly as you can. You've got 17x9" wheels. Most manufacturers do no recommend putting a 235/55-17 on a 9.0" wide wheel. The tire is too narrow for that wheel. And, its a 27.2" diameter. That's more than 1.5" larger than the stock 275/40-17's were. Unless someone corrected for the tire diameter in the computer, your speedo is reading 5.5% lower than actual speed.... might be setting yourself up for a speeding ticket.
