would 275/50/15s fit on a 4th gen camaro?
would 275/50/15s fit on a 4th gen camaro?
I know the size of tire does fit, but would the wheels clear the brakes? im looking on buying a pair of nittos 555r, and i would only like to use the on the track and im looking for wider taller tires, with the smallest rim i can fit.... or do you think i sould go with the 245/50/16 on salad shooters?
I need traction!

Belongs on "wheels and tires" forum.... I'll move it there.
What year is your car - will affect the answer.
For the LT1 4th Gens, for example, some 15" wheels fit with no problems - Bogart, Centerline Telstar - others like Welds require spacers in the front and grinding the calipers in the back.

Like Fred said its all going to come down to wheel selection, backspacing and offset...I run Bogart 15x10 rears and have had the 275 50 R15s and 275 60 R15s and they both fit with zero mods...I'm on stock rear springs...Some wheels will require some mods/clearancing of the rear brake calipers...

by the way it is a 4th gen lt! i only want to use the rear with 15s, just to slip by a little more tire height but not going over the stock ones "26 inches"
alright there only one way to find out! ill have to try some 15s on the rear, and see what i have to do! thanks!
Like said above LT1 cars and LS1 cars have different brakes, so wheel choice (brand and width) is what's going to make a difference as well.
I have a 2000 Camaro and for my 15x10 ProStars (w/275/50/15 Mickey Thompson drag radials) to fit I spent about 1.5 hours per side grinding on the calipers and caliper brackets for them to fit with rubbing. Tires are lost inside the big fenders though.
