Will they fit??

I have a set of brand new BF Goodrich Comp T/A drag radials I had bought for my GS 2 yrs ago and never used. Size is 275X60XR15. I was wondering if I got a cheap pair of rims from Summit would they fit my Camaro for a day at the drags. If not I need to sell them.

That's a 28" tire. It will probably fit, since the radials don't grow that much at the top end. You do realize that they will make your 3.23's feel like you've swapped in a 2.96 gear?

You would need a set of 15x8" drag wheels with a 5.5" backspace. Many 15" wheels require grinding the fins off the brake calipers.

I guess I'll sell them, the gain in traction probably wouldn't be worth the gear reduction. I had 3:73's in the GS and 500+ ft lbs of torque.
