wanted to know if 295 45 18 will fit on a 9.5 wheel ?

 

I put 295/35/18 on a 9.5 inch wheel. Looks fine and no sidewll flex.

 

45 series on a 18" rim is a BIG tire

that tire has a diameter of over 28"....2.75" bigger than a standard f-body tire

 

Yes.... a 295/45-18 will fit on a 9.5" wide wheel, per the manufacturer's recommendations. The next question is what year car are you trying to put them on? They are 28.4" diameter, and for example, will not fit in the fender openings of a 4th Gen without major surgery. I run 28.1" slicks, and had to relocate the rear axle, and cut about 1.5" off the rear bumper cover.

ok well let me ask this what size is the best for a 18x9.5 wheels in the rear of a 4th gen z28???

 

275/35-18 or 285/35-18

 

what about a 285/35/18 on the front?....anyone know?

 

im running 275/35ZR18 with no rub with a 1.5" drop i run that size all the way aruond
