who can tell me the size/model of 93 Camaro 16 inch alumina rim/wheel?

I am in Beijing ,PR.China

I am sending inquiry to local wheel sellers and want to change the 4 alumina wheels of my '93 Camazo Z28 to new types, but I can not tell the salesmen those the data of size/model he needed , unless I drive the car to them one by one, it is too trouble.

Thanks for quick help!

I want the data of the 16 inch "wheel boss" (rim,), for tire, I now use the 225/55/R16, as there it is difficult to find TOYO 245/50/R16 tire in Beijing.

well, i can't give you the exact measurement of the rim, but i can tell you that anything from a 225 (stretched tightly) to a 255 width will work on the rim
o, and the the 50 sidewall height is the correct height
with the 55 you're using now, it screws up the computer calculating speed, miles (wheel is now bigger which throws off the computer so you're speedometer will be a couple miles off)
not a big deal, but if you want your speedometer to be dead on, you need the 50 sidewall

sorry if that doesn't help you
that's about all the info i have

Re: who can tell me the size/model of 93 Camaro wheel?

The Wheel size is 16x8 with a standard bolt pattern for a Camaro. You can upgrade to 17x8.5 but would not go larger on a stock car. The price of tires also will remain within reason for these sizes. Also going from a 50 to 45 sidewall a plus 1 on 17" wheel will not change anything.
Check out Tirerack for all the info you will need for Wheels & tires.

You can upgrade to a 17x9 wheel with no trouble at all on a stock car. But the factory wheel size on a 93 was 16x8.

Re: who can tell me the size/model of 93 Camaro wheel?

The stock Camaro alloy wheel is 16" diameter x 8" wide, with a 55mm offset (6-5/8" backspace). The bolt pattern is 5 on 4.75" (120.65mm) circle.

On the Z28's, the "base" model tire was an all-season 235/55-16, with an optional Z-rated 245/50-16 size available.

You can replace the wheels by first matching the bolt circle, then using the correct offset, as a function of wheel width. You generally need to stay with the 50-55mm offset, but with wheels 8" to 9.5" wide, you can go down to about a 40mm offset. For a 10.5 or 11.0" wide wheel, you want a 50mm offset.
