Sorry if somebody already posted these in this thread, I admit I didn't scan all the pages first
Beautiful car my friend.

I have a set of FR18's bought a few years before Simmons went under. I'll try to get some pics up. I will say this though; they're probably one of the most difficult wheels I've ever tried to keep looking good.

BTW, Simmons FR's are still available through Tempe Tyres out of Australia for anyone interested.

Re: Wheels for 4th Gens

sorry if this has been answered already, but I couldn't find it - I have a 95 z28 vert, and am looking at putting 1992 17x10.5 oem corvette wheels on the rear w/315/35/17 tires - it is w/in spec in terms of diameter, but not sure if it will bolt up and not rub etc - car is all stock - I would keep the stock 'salad spinners' up front -

thanks for any feedback!

Re: Wheels for 4th Gens

I have 275/35/ZR18 Michelin PS2 on 18 X 9.5 C6 replica wheels with a 54mm offset all the way around. I do have pics on my computer, not on a URL. It looks like the rear axle would take more rubber, but the offset on the wheel is a concern. I understand that this style comes in 19 X 10 - 10.5, but the concern is the 68mm offset.

Picked the rims up for $400 on Kijiji, now if I can just sell my OEM 16" wheels and tires, I can almost break even I hope.

Re: Wheels for 4th Gens

Those look sweet! They are always so nice when they just come out of the box... Can't wait to see what they look like on the car.

Yea, the motorplex at GB is pretty nice...I hope they are going to hold some auto X at the new track they opened up...don't know if it's big enough though.

Re: Wheels for 4th Gens

All time best looking rim on a f-body IMO is a C5......and if they are deep dish that's even better. Can't beat the price either. Just everyone and their momma has them.

bring old threads to life is what I do lol
