Wheel Studs?

Can someone help me out. I need to put in longer wheel studs on my 4th gen. Reason? So that I can run ET streets. I have a Rim that will not clear my Caliper. So longer studs with spacers I think will do the trick. I need to put longer studs in anyway. How do I do that?

just rears? remove caliper and hammer them out. use a heavy hammer to provide backing to the rotor. install new studs (12M x 1.50" x length desired) with a sacrificial nut, a few washers and an impact gun. use a little white grease on the threads prior to cinching them into the rotor.

and get a wheel that does clear the caliper, or clearance the caliper a bit. do not run spacers on the rear.

Yeah im sorry. I meant to say spacers for the front. The rear ET rims clear just fine. Its the front that I need to run spacers. OK after I hammer them out. How do I get the new ones in? Who sells them? About how much do they cost.? How long is labor you think.

I just put mine on and it took me ~20 minutes per wheel. Summit, Thunder, Jegs - they all sell them and you'll need open end lug nuts to go with them. the new ones push in from the back, put a few washers on with your grease, and put on your sacrificial nut to 'pull' the lug into the rotor (it's a press fit). Use either a socket/ratchet/breaker bar to get the proper leverage, or an impact wrench. when the seat hits the back of the rotor, it is installed.
