Wheel locks for 5-star rims

I have a set of 16" 5-star chrome rims on my camaro and can't seem to find a wheel lock that fits correctly. I ordered a shallow depth set so the center caps fit now, but the lug nut covers don't fit over the wheel locks! What wheel locks have you folks used successfully with 5-star rims? Thanks.

Where can I get them? And how do they hold on the center caps?

No, I haven't. Do you mean OEM wheel locks? Can I get these online, or do I go to a dealer?

Yes the OE locks. You can get them online, but I think itll be quicker from the dealer. If you dont mind the wait, I think i have a set somewhere. I'll check in the morning. If I do just give me like $10.00 and I'll mail them.

Re: Wheel locks for 5-star rims

Wheel locks are a waste of money. If someone wants to steal the wheels they will and the locks mean nothing to them. I had them and the thiefs just stole the car. Also more of a problem changing your tires and trying to torque the locks on and off.

Thanks for the responses and to 96SSM6 for the offer. I picked up a set from the dealer today and they fit great. I know the saying goes that if a thief wants something he'll get it, but I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't even try to deter him, or at least force a decision between stealing my wheels and the ones next door that don't have locks on them.

Re: Wheel locks for 5-star rims

Just thought I'd post a followup to this thread. The part number for the GM 5-star wheel locks is 12497478. Ironically, they're made by McGard, just like the aftermarket ones I tried first, but they're just a tad smaller in diameter so the lug covers fit over them.
