Re: wheel lock???

are they the stock GM pieces?

you can probably go to a dealership and they should have the one that fits. i did it once. gave the guy $10 and was on my way.

aftermarket lock...a shop will have to cut it off somehow

Re: wheel lock???

There are tools for removing a rounded off nut. They have a big spiral opposite hand thread that locks onto the nut. Sears has them. Or find an impact socket a little smaller than the lock nut and hammer it on the nut. Should be enough to let you take it off with a ratchet.

Don't use wheel locks the next time and you won't have any problems. Just for your info: A thief know all those tips and dosen't have any problems, its just the dumb owner.

Thats why you get a set of 20 locking lugs, by the time he hammers off all 20 lugs someones bound to see him or hear him

Just dont loose the lock

Re: wheel lock???

I dont have them, but when I was missing a few lugs after I put on my brand new chrome Z06s I went to a local wheel shop and they said they sell full sets of 20 wheel locks. Its a good idea if you have alot of money wraped up in your wheel/tire package.

Re: wheel lock???

Just find a socket that is like a size to small and pound it on there with a hammer. Then just unscrew it. They come right off.
