Re: what size rims on Trans Am?

Yes and no. If it was a regular trans am, then it had 16" wheels. If it was the ram air trans am then it had 17" wheels like the camaro ss. This should have been posted in the wheel and tire section. I'm sure someone is going to move this there.

Re: what size rims on Trans Am?

I recommend going the same size all around for street use. If you ever have a tire blow out, or other problem, it just simplifies things. I got a good deal on some Michelin Pilot Sport II's in 275/35/18, and on some black chrome C-6 replicas. Since I'm not going to the drag strip, I do enjoy much improved handling on the street. My car is low mileage, garaged, and still has the original deCarbon shocks on it. They put white lithium grease on the factory bushings every time I get a front end alignment. I don't have a problem with my kidneys, so I don't mind the harsh ride. Of course I live where there is no freeze thaw problem, and therefor have less potholes to contend with. I would insert an image if I had a website!!

I don't get it either. I think he may have been replying to a different thread.
