What kind of tire do you advise? 16"inch 3rd gen

Sorry I first did not post in the good forum, I have read the faq now, but I am still looking for feedback !
So far, I never had any understeer problems on dry road, My rear tire are in good shape and my front tire are burnt nearly dead. I need to change them, I know it is as is stupidly unsafe. I also experience too early tire lock in dry roads. I also have fear under rain, as front has nearly no grip at all.
What kind of tire model/brand do you advise me ? Something with good wet grip would be good I think. I dont know if good street tire will be good for wet or too much specific for dry.
Any feedback is welcome.
Thanks

ps: I checked my front tire are 225*60r16 (and rear are 245*50r16)

First, determine the tire size you need. There is no reason to use such a skinny tire in the front, and that skinny tire is probably contributing to your problems. Check the front wheels and determine the rim width. Do the same in the back. If they are 16x8", use the 245/50-16 or a 255/50-15 on all four corners. If your wheels are narrower than that, you may need a different size tire.

Go to the Tire Rack website. Do a "search by size" based on the tire size you want. You will get a huge list of available tires. You can compare the various tires by looking as owner feedback data, comparing the various tires available. Pick the tire that has the highest rating for whatever is most important to you - wet traction, dry traction, cornering , noise, treadwear, etc. Obviously, you have to consider your budget in making the selection.

i would stay clear of "all season" unless you plan to drive it in snow someday.

you'll get a much better performing tire if you just go with "summer"...which means wet and dry.

the KDW are a good choice....but watch out..the KDWS is the all season.

nitto nt555 are nice tires. just put some 315s on the rear of my car and am very pleased so far.

555 does not come in a 16" size. only the DR comes in a size that fits.
You would go with the 450, which is a really good tire as well.
