what do you guys think? personally they look infinitely better than the puke swirls that were on it previously.

now for wheel care...
Did these wheels come with a clear coat or anything? I can't find anywhere on the boxes or paperwork that says if they are. what should I do to them to keep them from getting pitted?

edit: I just realized this is in the wrong section. could a moderator be nice and move it to the show and shine section please?

No, the wheels have no clear coat. You have to keep them polished otherwise they will dull up. I just bought the American Racing wheel polish and use that to keep mine looking nice.

I didn't notice where you live, but I live in NY where it snows in the winter, I kept my stock wheels for winter driving, otherwise the snow, sand, and salt would have the TT IIs looking like crap.

Well... OK

I think the wheels look pretty darn nice! (I have them on my 96SS too ).

Might want to consider some lowering springs

if you've ever seen the roads this poor car has to navigate sometimes you would understand why I don't want to put lowering springs on it
however, it would look very cool, I agree with you on that one.

my car is parked for the most part during the winter, and I am keeping the stock wheels for drag radials and, if absolutely necessary, snow tires.

thanks for the info, these wheels gotta last a while!
