Need an opinion

I know this question gets asked too much, but seeing that I value board members opinions highly, which wheels would look the best on my car: 10-spoke SS, Z06, or thin-spoke vette wheels? You can see my car in my sig. Also, given the fact that I have two colors in my paint job, does anyone think chrome would look right? I mean if I had a solid black car, or a solid silver car I think it would be ok, but don't know how it would look with both colors.

I think some chrome 10 spoke SS wheels would look really sweet.

That is a very cool paint scheme.

Thanks. So you think chrome would look ok? Everyone else has told me to go for chrome, I just don't see it. I guess I'll give it some thought now, I figure if that many people think it would look good it probably will.

Love the paint. Just a thought, follow the paint, silver Z06 in front, and black in rear.

Please don't get chrome wheels. Get some silver ZO6 wheels, and call it a night.

Wink Silver

Nice paint scheme, i agree (smaller spoiler though )
I agree that the Silver front and Black rear would look kinda cool, but I think in all the Silver wheel in the back would be needed for a good contrast to all that black in the rear..and all silver up front. some 18's painted silver in the Z06 style would be the best in my opinion but its really what hits you once you see the wheels for yourself..as stated many times in other posts..its not what others think, its what you think really
nice ride, good luck

Thanks guys, I've been really looking at the Z06 wheels. I always leaned towards the SS because they were cheaper, but I figure when I do get the money I'll just do it right. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks chrome would look bad with my paint scheme. I considered chrome for a little while, but just couldn't see it turning out good. Does anyone know where I can find painted Z06 rims for a good price? I've checked ebay and all I can ever find are the polished rims. The rare times I do find the painted rims they end up selling for serious $$$.

Either one would look good. I do love the thin spoked vette rims

Since you already have silver and black on the car I'd contrast those colors with a chrome rim if it were me. Any of the chrome wheels you mentioned would look good, thin spoked vette wheels, zo's, or even the 10 spokes. I really like the 10 spoke in the chrome personally because not many people around here have them. Everyone and their dog has chrome y2k's and a few zo's.

IF you are stuck on the factory zo style, you can find them used everywhere. I just saw a set in a bargain post this last week, just the factory rims for $600. Also a friend of mine works at Firestone, he's mentioned that like half a dozen vette owners have come in and picked up the chrome zo's in the last few months and traded in the stock gunmetals; and then Firestone sells the used trade-ins for CHEAP (like $400 for a set!) Check around, you might get lucky.
