As for the 712's, I've got about 100 miles on 'em so far. They were a little harsh and noisy at first, but as they've broken in they have improved greatly. They are obviously a harder compound than my Yokohama A520's were, but overall grip is better than I anticipated. Of course, they are new, so that may change, but for now they work fine. I hope they stick this well and have good treadwear. My Yokes were sticky as hell, but were completely shagged after about 8,000 miles. Granted, that was about 80% track and 20% street mileage, so the abuse was definitely plentiful. These Kumhos will probably see the track once or twice in their life, so I don't mind sacrificing a bit of grip for tread life.
