Time for new tires... Face off!

Good street tires that hook up but are still good for daily driving? I need some new tires and am replacing the Yokohama's on it. I drive aggresively and really am not hooking up well with the worn tires I have. I am mostly concerned with dry traction but am also aware that wet traction is important to keep my car in one peice. All opinions are welcome!

Nitto NT450 (least favorite)
Yokohama AVS es100
Kuhmo Ecsta 712
Goodrich G-force's
Goodrich Traction T/a
Cooper Zeon's

How much do you want to spend??? I have G-Force KDW's on my car and they are very good, (they have a new version out, but I'm not sure it comes in many sizes yet ). If I was buying new tires, it would probably be Goodyear GS-D3's...I've heard nothing but good things about them. Out of what you have listed I say go for the G-Force...KDW's if you are willing to spend a bit more and don't care about snow/mud performance...KDWS's if you don't want to spend as much and/or want some capability in the snow.

What about Conti Extreme contacts or something? I was seeing lots good about them on the reviews. I might add that to my list. I also cannot get traction with the AVS ES100's... At 40 my tires break over on a full throttle punch.

Sorry guys, those D3's are just a bit out of my price range. I was hoping to spend around 400-450 or so... Maybe a bit more. I forgot to include it in my previous post.

I have a friend that is a tire engineer at Cooper, and he says not to buy the Zeons if wet traction is important to you.
