talking tire size

i was just wondering if anyone has put 315/35/17s on a camaro without modifiying the wheel wells

Wrong Forum, but I have Nitto 555R's 315/35/17 on a set of 9.5 ZR1 replicas from AFS, with no problem. But the Nitto 315 are more like 295.

A mod will likely relocate your post, but I don't see how those tires will fit the unmodified well. I would turn the wheel a bit to create the least distance from tire to well edge. Measure that distance in millimeters. That will just give an idea as to how much clearance you have.

Back is no problem - assuming you have the correct wheel width/offset. Minor hammering of the inner fenders, trim the edge of the jounce bumper brackets and they fit fine. Mine do. Some people don't even have to make those mods. There are Auto-X people running 17x11's with 315/35-17's on all 4 corners.

And, this isn't "engine" tech, so let's move it to "Wheels and Tires".... where there is actually a "sticky" thread on putting this wheel/tire combo on 4th Gens.
