Staggered 18's

My step son just bought a set of rims from Ruff racing on ebay size 8.5X18 front and 9.5X18 rear for his 95 Z28. What tires would you recommend? Size and Brand. Leaning towards less expensive as he's borrowing the money from Mom for the tires. Probably going to get them for Discounttire direct or the Tire rack

Discount tire direct is recommending 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear per their website. Looked at these 3 brands for 1. Cheapest Falken Azenio St 115, 2. Middle of the road, yet still not expensive Hankook Ventus Sport K104 and 3. one I hear many guys using but more expensive Nitto 555 Extreme performance. Is this the best size? Which should we buy?

I would do 265 on front with 275 or 285 on back, and i have falken zeix's that i really like plus they aren't horribly expensive.

For the Front 245/40/18, Rear 275/35/18 . Or a little bigger (height & width),Front 255/40/18 ,and Rear 285/35/18.

For tires: General Exclaim UHP , Kumo, Falken. Since you won't be able to rotate the tires keep open the option of running a different brand/ model tires front and rear, and also you can usually get 275/40/18s cheaper than 275/35/18.

Good Luck!
