Anyone have a staggered 16/17 set-up?
Anyone have a staggered 16/17 set-up?
Does anyone by chance have a staggered 16/17 set-up on their car? I know people do it all the time with 17/18 and 18/19 wheels, just wondering if anyone has it with the 16/17?
Re: Anyone have a staggered 16/17 set-up?
I had the 16/17 staggered set up on my Formula for almost 10 years. I used the GM 16" ZR1s in the Front and GM 17" ZR1s on the rear. They looked great and the 16s were a little lighter in the front for racing. I just switch back to the 16" stock 5 stars because I wanted to try the 16" M/T DRs on the rear and it was cheaper to get 4 stockers instead of buying 2 16" ZR1s.
They are now for sale if you at all interested..Silver Genuine GM Wheels in great shape with Corvette caps...The rears have "tread challenged" BFG 275 40 17 DRs which work great at the track...The GMs are very light.

Re: Anyone have a staggered 16/17 set-up?
I ran my stock 245s up front on 16" rims while I got the money together to buy new tires for the new 17x9 rims I bought. I have 335 Pilots mounted on 17" rims on the back. I now need to replace the 335s and the 245s will looks strange on the rear and the 245s no longer fit the front because I installed Z06 brakes that require 17" rims.
I had no problem with the 16/17 set up. It did not look funny most people did not notice.
