Looks good, did you go 17x10 all the way around? I love smoothie II's besides the fact that water catches behind the spokes. If you dont know yet you will soon

Re: Smoothie II pics

I hope you have better luck than I did with the keeping the center caps shiney. Mine turned dull and spotted. I've tried polishing them with Mothers Billet polish but nothing yet. Gonna have to pop them off and go at it with a buffer to see if they come back to their original look. I sent an email to Boyd Coddington company to see if this is normal and if they could suggest something to restore the shine but surprise, surprise, nothing.... After all, they got what they wanted from me ..... my $$$$$

Re: Smoothie II pics

My centercaps did the same thing, i thought maybe i just wanst supposed to polish them when i did.

Hence another huge factor in my decision to powdercoat them

The more I see yours powdercoated the more i like em' but i still like the polished more.

i see that you still have the bc logo on the center cap. did you remove yours before the coating or did you get new ones?

Re: Smoothie II pics

We removed them before hand. Actually they did, and i just epoxied them back on. Wasnt really that hard, they are just on with double sided tape.

They are however really thin aluminum and bend, but they went back on just fine. Unfortunately the wheels dont take great pics because of the reflection the spokes give on the lip but oh well. That and i never tire shine them.
