Are they clipped on the edge of the wheel or taped on the inside diameter of the rim? Tape weights should peel off - solvent may help. The clipons come off clean if you have a tool that pulls them using the hole in the "back".... the clip thats between the edge of the rim and the tire.

just a screwdriver will work...i took a piece of chalk and marked both ends of the weight on the tire to make sure i got it in the exact place...don't get them mixed up and just tap the weight back on with a hammer.
