The stock 16x8" 4th Gen F-Body wheel has a 55mm offset (6-5/8" backspace), and the stock 17x9" (WS6/SS) wheels have a 50mm offset (close to a 7" backspace).
Or are you talking about a 4th Gen 'vette?
