Question / Advice on Rim size
Question / Advice on Rim size
I've decided I would like to go with the chrome TTM rim, but there is a ton of sizing options.
My application is a 95 Z28 with stock height and 275/40/17 tires.
I read through the FAQ and it seems like this:

might be the best choice.
Would a different offset/backspace combo look better perhaps?
Thanks!

Re: Question / Advice on Rim size
17" x 9.0" 45mm offset works fine. If you look at a stock WS6 or an SS coupe, with the factory 17" x 9.0" 50mm offset wheels, these will be moved outwards about 1/5th of an inch compared to the factory wheels. In general, moving the wheels toward the outside of the car looks better, but that's based on personal preference.
You could also consider using the 17" x 9.0" in the front, and 17 x 10.5" 44mm in the back, and 315/35-17 tires.

Thanks for the info. I have 4 new tires, so I was going to go all the same currently, although I may try the staggered in the future.
What offset creates flushness with the wheel well?

Re: Question / Advice on Rim size
Look at the post in the FAQ that provides guidelines on offset vs. width. In the 17x9.0" listing, there is a link to a post with pictures of a car REPORTEDLY with 25mm offset, putting the edge of the tire slightly outside of the front fender. The back probably wouldn't be outside the fender.
