Problem with rubbing
What's up guys, I've searched already but nobody seems to have the problem that I have, it was more of an inner fender issue.
I just got Eagle F1's on the back 315/35/17 (on 17x11 ZR1's) and the outside fender lip keeps rubbing over bumps. My car is lowered with Eibach springs, and my Nittos I had on previously did not rub at all. My fenders are rolled and I don't know what else to do because they are rolled as far back as they will go.
I'm suppose to go on an 800 mile road trip tonight and got these new tires for it but there is no way I can make it on the sh*tty Louisiana roads with it rubbing like it is. It rubs slightly with just me sitting in it (190lbs) and with any number of passengers there is no way in hell.
Anyone have any ideas? My wheels have a 56mm offset. I was thinking for long-term to get 17x11 ZR1's with a 50mm (grandsport) offset that would push my wheels back in the wheel well a little farther to clear that fender lip, but I would obviously rather be able to do something about it keeping what I've got. A neighbor also told me that you can get your tires shaved on the edges but I've never heard of that before. I put in some pictures so you can see where it's rubbing.
Any help would be appreciated

Re: Problem with rubbing
Kind of hard to follow... but it appears that since you are thinking the 50mm offset wheels will help you in the future, do you have the 36.5mm offset wheels now? If that's the case, the results are predictable. You've got the outer edges of the tires more than 1/2" farther out under the fender lip than the 50mm wheels would be.
The Nittos are narrower than most tires, apparently. The people who claim the 315 Nittos fit on 9" wheels also say they are narrower than a 295 tire from other manufacturers. The F1's are a very wide 315.
You can have the tread "shaved".... that's a common thing to do for road racing tires, but you can't shave the sidewalls.
The best temporary solution would be to put a pair of airbags in the rear springs and inflate them enough to prevent the fenders from coming down on the tires.... more people in the car, increase the pressure in the bags.
