Thanks for the comments. I don't know why they dont' rub. I have got really good clearance inside the wheel well and they are just about flush on the outside, maybe in just a little. I think that it may be the offset on these rims, it is 44mm. I also have jounce bumper spacers installed and I know that a lot of people say that they are useless but I know that I removed them once and with my car lowered about 1.5" in the back, they would rub under hard acceleration without the jounce bumper spacers installed.

I know that I was a little concerned about it before I purchased the rims and tires so before I bought anything, I called and spoke with the tech departments at Enkei and at Sumitomo. Both of the tech's said that they recommend the 315 to be used with a minimum of a 10.5" wide rim but that using that size of a tire on a 9.5" rim would not cause ANY problems as long as proper tire inflation is used and that the only issue could possibly be un-even tire wear if the tires are not inflated properly. As of yet, I have not had that issue. Actually the tech at Enkei said that he has seen it done many times without problems. So, I feel safe in doing it for my purposes and don't anticipate any issues.

Welllllll...... first the narrower width of the wheel puts it further from the inner fender and the fender lip. Second, the narrower rim reduces the section width of the tire. For example, a tire that measures at 12.4" section width on an 11" rim will lose about 0.75" section wdith when mounted on a 9.5" wide wheel. Wheel is narrower + tire is narrower = no rubbing.

These tires have a great contact patch to the ground. All the tread makes great contact and they fit very well. They grip the road very very well also. Zack im not trying to be a butthole its just this is my car and I just wanted some pics of what it would look like. I have some pics on my cardomain site if anyone wants to check them out. Thanks for all your guys help!! http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/716929

Thanks man. Yeah I thought they would bulge way more than that. They make complete contact with the ground also. My tire guy said if I run it 32-33psi they should wear even also. Again thanks for your help and replies n2oblkz!!

Here is one of mine from behind. It's not a very good one, but I will check and see if I have any better ones.
