I need to buy a new set of tires for my 99 SS and was looking for suggestions. It's got the Goodyear Eagle F1's on it now and they are loud SOB's. I was looking for something with a little less noise and a lower price. Any thoughts? The car doesn't see rain or snow so all weather tires aren't an issue.

 

Go to Tire Rack, do a "search" by size for 275/40-17. You will get a wide selection of available tires and prices. Check the "survey results", which show a comparison of the brand/models available, with "ratings" for things like dry traction, wet traction, cornering, noise level, ride quality, tread life, etc.
