Thumbs up Door Skins with no handles...Inside for those who might be interested.

By the summer of 2004 Generations Plus will be offering new door skins for both the 4th Generation Camaros and Trans Am's.

The door skins will be made with no handles so that insted of shaving handles on the old abs doors the skins can just be replaced.

Why shave the whole skin insted of just the handle?
Currenty F-Body doors are made of ABS plastic making them difficult to not fail. When shaving a stock F-Body door there is a good chance of future failure due to the expanding and shrinking of the plastic. This is why Generations Plus is working on making a whole skin replacment without the handle.

Currently we are not sure what the final price will be, but we do know that the kits will either be 2 door skins or 2 door skins and all the electronic hardware for hookup. After installation of the skin all the will need to be done is color matching to the car.

I will let you guys know more as soon as we get closer to completion. I do know that the Camaro skin will be avilable first.
This post is just to see if anynoe would be interested. Thanks

Need a TA door to make a mold Danee? Mine are still in one piece I will probably need a set of skins for the new car, so add me to the list.

You going to be at the shop On Wednesday or Thursday? I was a bit late yesterday.
