I was also wondering if a 315 will be ok on a 18 X 10 wheel or is that still to narrow

What year car? Assuming its a 4th Gen......

Look at the FAQ for recommended offsets, as a function of wheel width.

The bolt pattern on all 3rd and 4th Gens is 5 x 4.75" (120.65mm)

You can squeeze a 315 into the rear wheel well - with the correct offset on the wheels. But look in the FAQ at the writeup on the 17x11 315 combo to see what mods you might need to make. Most tire manufacturers recommend at least a 10.5" wide wheel for a 315/30-18
