Need help with wheel offset!

Hey there everyone hope that you all had a great christmas. My question is that I am looking at purchasing some 17x11 wheels for my SS. They have a 50mm offset. Will the fitment of these wheels be ok, if not what would be the proper offset to have a proper fitment without any mods?

Also if you are running a 17x11 what is your offsetif you know it by chance

There's a "Wheels and Tires" forum... that's where this topic should be posted. At the top of the page on the "Wheels and Tires" forum is a "stickied" FAQ. There is a lengthy explanation of fitting 17x11 wheels on a 4th Gen, in the FAQ. You want 50mm offset.
