Need help with plus sizing, etc on SS rims

I have the car in the sig with the stock rims(16x9) and 4.10 gears eith 255/50/16s. My speedo is programmed for this. The rims I bought are 2002 SS rims (17x9 i believe) and Im putting 275/40s on'em....

How much is this going to throw off my speedo?

thanks

-Chris

IF your car originally came out with P245/50R16 tires and you HAVE NOT reprogrammed, going to the P275/40R17 tires will not change anything as both tires have the exact same rolling diameter.

But, since he has already told us he is programmed for the 255/50's, his speedo will theoretically be reading approx 1.47% higher than actual road speed, or about a 1mph error at 70mph.

By the way, the stock wheels are 16x8.

Good info!

Thanks guys! 1 mph wont even matter so thats cool.

Cant wait to see those Eagle F1 GSD3's on them And on my car for that matter lol. They look so cool I might have a hard time making myself drive on them.

Thanks a lot guys, CZ28.com has saved me a ton of time/money, just glad you guys are here Heck I'd pay for a membership here lol.
